Born to be Wilder

Difficulty: ????
Part of the SummerGame2015 Game

You know how sometimes you'd wake up in the morning and your Pa and Uncle Henry would be outside butchering a pig to help fill your family's pantry for the winter? Well, Laura Ingalls Wilder did. She was born in 1867 to a pioneer family who owned a covered wagon, and they sure knew how to use it. Later in life, Laura used her experiences growing up on the frontier for her beloved Little House series of children's books. Not many kid's books these days really breakdown the process of making headcheese, that's for sure. Well, between butchering hogs and driving covered wagons westward, Laura's Pa also played an instrument. He never played it from up on the roof, at least, not in the books, but it would have been fitting, considering the type of instrument it was. Search for Pa's last name and the type of instrument he played to discover an album full of tunes familiar to Little House fans.
