If Baloo Only Knew

Difficulty: ????
Part of the SummerGame2015 Game

In 1894 Rudyard Kipling published The Jungle Book. In one of the most famous of The Jungle Book stories a young boy named Mowgli is saved by a panther and a bear named Baloo. Although Kipling described Baloo as being a ‘brown bear’ those with knowledge of Indian fauna believe that Kipling was referring to a particular type of bear. Figure out the two-word name for the bear. Find your first gamecode in a youth book about the first word of the bear’s name that’s actually a very slow and lazy animal very different than a bear.
