ATTENTION SUMMER GAME SHOPPERS! We're sorry for the delays in getting this last shop update out to you, as you may know, it's been ONE CRAZY SUMMER at AADL! And a lot of that is thanks to YOU! In a GOOD WAY! So here it is... the final shop update you've been waiting for. We are thrilled to release a TOTALLY NEW ITEM for the end of the game, and we hope you'll enjoy our new WAXY RAINBOW GEL STICKS! But that's not all... we also have the long-awaited release of the 2014 SUPREME SUMMER GAME MASTER SET and the 2014 PENULTIMATE PRIZE PACK, plus the TINY ERASER FANATIC SET!

And we're also happy to announce a small restock of a few hot items. We managed to find 20 more Snack Boxes, and 40 more pairs of Binoculars.. so have at them! But please, if you've already got these items, let someone else have a chance this time!

Lots of good items are still available! Remember that Summer Game 2014 ends at Midnight on August 31st, but The 2014 Summer Game Shop will close at 5 PM on Monday, September 15th! Will will also hold your items for pickup until the end of October, but Shop Orders not picked up by the end of October will be returned to the Summer Game Shop Inventory!

What I don't understand is

What I don't understand is about the mini-eraser set: "And will all 4 packs in your hot little hand, you will possess the 4 codes required to unlock the long-awaited and frequently-asked-after YOU HAVE A LOT OF TINY ERASERS badge! " -- but an order placed today will not get to the branch in time for the code to be entered.

(Not an issue for me, since the member of my household who was interested in these ordered them separately and is waiting eagerly for the badge to drop, but a question I have about this prize.)

Really wanted the Supreme

Website Gods/People, could you please make the star ratings so we can tell when we've already rated something. The stars are red. When you do the rating it temporarily turns yellow... how about it staying yellow showing us what we rated it as instead of going back to red showing us the average star rating. If I've already rated it, it doesn't really matter what the average rating is. The average rating only matters when I'm reviewing something that I haven't seen/read/etc. Thanks for listening... um... reading.

Like @AprilCDB, I would appreciate it if the stars somehow indicated how you rated the item. At goodreads, your rating is shown in a separate spot from the overall average rating. I can also imagine a scheme where your rating is yellow but the average is red - although if your rating was higher than the average it might get complicated!

Ugh, I can't figure out the last of the Polkemania bonuses (#7, from 006) for the life of me. I don't know how I managed to figure any of them out. These master badges are kind of depressing when you are ONE code away from getting them.

@Willow, I know exactly how you feel! Apparently I'm missing 7 and 12. If I had known they mattered for the master badge I would have tried harder for them when I was first working on the Polkemon badges and itt was all fresh in my mind. On the other hand, I've gotten all the badges I can get from home, so it's sort of nice to have one more chalanage before sending off the game. Now if only a little more time came with it.....

asopijw65 : aha! Your hint helped me! First of all, you're going to enter the code, not search in the catalog. (This has confused me about ALL the polkemon badges.) Reread the clue. "Take a bunch of them around the track like in the title". Maybe that will help.

hey @willow, i hear you on the frustration of being ONE code away. We managed to get 31 codes at the Kids Read Comics Artists Alley - there were only 30 lines on the card (although iirc, some kind of hint there might be two extras). Since we couldn't enter them until after the event ended, we didn't know we were one short. Very frustrating!!

For those a few bonus hints away from the Pokemon master badge, I'm in complete awe of y'all. Well done! If I were any good at crafts, I'd craft a real badge for those masterful 23 people.

The following is a cross post: I'm curious if any of my fellow summer gamers who ordered the tiny erasers would be interested in trading at the summer game wrap party. We ordered two sets of the tools, foods, and ice creams, and we've randomly gotten duplicates of each. I'd love to trade our blue saw/screwdriver, strawberry/orange, and white ice cream cones for different tools, foods, and ice creams.

So sad that the summer game is wrapping up. I'm looking forward to working on designing some badges over the long fall/winter/spring break.

Finishing the Pokemon Bonus

Finishing the Pokemon Bonus Badge seems hopeless- I can see what codes I have, but can't sift through all my summer game activity to find the clues for the codes I'm missing. And, as the bonuses usually refer to the original badge clues, you can't simply answer then without the original badge clues. Did anyone figure out how to do this?

@airgood You didn't read carefully enough, the code is all 7 words, its saying that the 7 words of the code only uses 3 three different words to construct it. Basically, the last sentence of the bonus code hint is extraneous and will throw you off. the code is all 7 of those words. no spaces or commas or periods.

11; In the 70s, there was a Song of the Century that has Pokémon written all over it. Find the volume in that manga series that corresponds to that song's place in the 70's list.

27: So there's a song on this album about an undisclosed secret. The last word of that song title appears in the name of two Pokémon! Using the younger version, make your bonus code by smushing the name of the song and the name of that pokemon together. You'll know you've got it right if you've got 27 characters and no spaces or punctuation.

Any hints would be much appreciated!

#6: search up the insect that comes to mind after "flight of the _____." It should be one word. add "transformer" next to that word. And its a dvd.

#7: remember the title to the cd album with weird al? see the last word of the title? Search "pokemon #212" on google. Replace the last word with the name of that pokemon. with your "new" title, that's your code. no spaces.

#11: remember "John Brimhall's deluxe 200 songs of the Century" in the catalog? Scroll down to the additional details and look for the track list of "greatest hits of the 70's." Look up the 2nd song in the catalog. Find the first manga of the series with that title.

#27: Remember the "alapalooza" cd? Look at the last word of the longest song title in the track list (its listed in the additional details). there are 2 pokemon in existence currently to have that word in their name. If it helps, search up on google "pokemon" and the last word of that song title. Pick the young version of the 2 pokemons. the code is the name of the long titled song and plus the 2 letters included in the pokemon's name. no spaces or periods. You should have a total of 27 letters and hopefully not 31. They meant smushing as in you share the same word for the pokemon name and the last word of the song title. once again, no spaces and no periods.
