MAN! We cannot keep up with you guys! We'll finish out the secret shop with two more releases on the next two fridays, but the concept will take some MAJOR retooling over the off-season. Thanks to all you hardcore players who have been right on top of the secret shop this summer... but we will have to figure out a more equitable way to get stuff this great out to everybody next summer. Search Fra*****, there should be a lot of results, I think it is one of the first 20 results.

What's the second to last code for the Pooper Scooper badge? I don't know any shorter forms of "poop"

I can't find the first code for the Art of the Fae badge, I think I know the era already.
Maybe make it so everyone that finds the shop can add the item to their cart for 24 hours, in doing so they get a number representing which person they were that requested said item, then after twenty four hours someone with the library randomly selects the number of the person that gets the actual item and the other people get their token and points refunded. This way we get twenty four hours to try and find the store and really think if we want it. Another thing that would be cool is if people had new merchandise they wanted to donate to the library to use as prizes for the summer game like new video games, movies, books and such. I know I have received duplicate gifts and wouldn't mind regifting something to the summer contest just to have more stuff for people to go after that is available in the secret shop.
Keep up the good work with the summer game my kids love getting shirts and hats to give to their grandparents for holidays. Plus my kids love helping me find the badges it gives us something to do together other than eating dinner and cleaning the house, something we can do that doesn't involve a winner like when we play board games or sports. I was very surprised that it said 7,000 and some odd players, I would have thought the number would have been higher. I know I have lived here for about six years and didnt start until last year. Now I tell all my neighbors and friends to check it out. Thanks dudes.

I have to say that the last two Secret Shops were not all that tough to find - if you're paying attention to entertainment and media in this town you knew both of these right from the first line! Of course that means the shop is sold out within minutes of 6pm. I love the local connection of the last couple shops, though!

Crimson femur is just a different y of saying this bluesman's last name. Just like for the Manga Mangler badge, substitute synonyms for crimson femur, combine them together to form one word, and search for that word in the catalog. Hint: Crimsonis just a fancy way of saying this color of blood, and a femur is just a ****.

Can anyone help on the second ship + captain clue on the Scomberomorus Cavalla badge (second-to-last clue)? I'm almost certain I have the right thing, but since none of the items that come up in the search results have a code, I feel like I'm missing something. I usually try to figure out clues for myself, but this one is driving me crazy.

found the shop in about 20 seconds. everything was sold out. very dissapointing
yeah, there was one thing I wanted there but someone got it before I could and everything else I didn't like.
Naverick22: Those were really hard. For linus and lucy, search their first names and then just be patient. All of the codes are in the first 120 results. You just have to have the patience to look through all 120 items to find it. I know that Linus is in at least the first 80 results, because he was one of the first people that I found and I didn't have much patience when I first started the badge. :) Lucy is farther down the list, but like I said before, you'll find her.
Charlie Brown is much harder. You have to search his full name, and the result isn't even on the first page. What's helpful is knowing that none of the actual Peanuts items (DVD's, books, and CD's about Charlie Brown and Snoopy and friends) have codes. So you can skip a lot of the results. Good luck!

@ alumeng.ajl: If you still need help with the 3rd Bone badge code, look on Wikipedia in the character section, it starts with a V.
For the Art of the Fae badge, do you type queen V******* in the search place or do you type something else, cause I'm coming up with a lot of results...and I've looked through like 30 of them and still can't find it, I've also searched V******** Era and haven't found the code either...I've only searched in books though...is it not in a book...help?

Yeah, I saw your questions so I figured I would start that badge next. I'll try to give some direction without giving it away. Try searching V******* A** (think about the name of the badge), and you'll find a couple books with titles relevant to the badge name that we're looking for. Hope that helps:)

second of all, I still need help finding the last code for the calvin and hobbes badge, once again, I know it has something to do with sparky and the peanuts gang but the book with sparky on the title that's about the peanuts gang's creation doesn't have the code. Is it on another item?

I think the third code to There Lived a King is missing. I searched the name of the people with boats, got the series, but no code. I triple checked!
Some of these badges have really been tough, but fun.
I'm glad we're all here to help each other :) Most of the time though, once I've posted a comment asking for help, a lightbulb goes off in my head of the missing piece of the puzzle, type in the search and poof! There it is.
Also, I agree with some of the first comments about the secret shops. I was tired of finding them and then everything was all sold out. Friday I made sure I was there for the riddle right at 6, found it by 6:07, and half the things were sold out already! I did finally get a chance to buy something though. There should be a more equitable way of dealing with the secret shop, maybe by having more than one in stock per item, or a holding period/random pick of those that selected an item to buy. I also really like the "regifting" to the secret shop idea, I think I would probably contribute some things.
Stuck on the fish and ships badge. Have the captain (I think ) have the ships but can't find the codes? How did people search for the codes ?

I don't know if this is happening, but if people are buying multiple items in the secret shop, maybe the library could limit it so you can only purchase one thing from each secret shop - spreading out the prizes so that the thing you get is the thing you really want?
I can help with the captain badge. If you have the right captain he served under the second captain. The second captain is famous for exploring thw world a long time ago.

If you mean the There Lived a King badge, the second code is easy to find. You type Luigi and the word you typed when you found the first code. I don't know the clue so I can't help you with the word. I also need help with the 3rd code and down.
